Digital Microscope - Compensation Free Trinocular Head Inclined At 30 Degree Angle - Plan Achromatic
The digital microscope has a compensation free trinocular head that is inclined at a 30 degree angle. The microscope has a wide field 10X magnification eyepiece with an 18-millimeter focal length; a quadruple nose piece with 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X objective lenses; a double layer mechanical stage; a 20 watt halogen lamp; and an Abbe condenser with a numerical aperture of 1.25.
The digital microscope uses plan achromatic lenses that are designed to limit the effects of chromatic and spherical aberration, and flatten the field for improved focus. The trinocular head includes a third eyetube for connecting a digital microscope camera. The home microscope's double layer mechanical stage allows the user to make subtle adjustments by turning two knobs that shift the slide on the x and y axis. The halogen lamp illuminates the slide via a light beam that is focused through the Abbe condenser.
The home microscope is used to examine slides for clinical, educational, pharmaceutical and research purposes. The digital camera can be connected to a video monitor and/or a recording device.
