General Description
Stand Feet for Electric Panels – Aluminum
The stand feet are constructed out of aluminum and are white, black, and silver in color. The size of the feet is 7 9/16" x 1 15/32" x 1 3/8" .
Function
The stand feet are used in pairs in order to support electric heating panels. The notch in each of the feet allows a panel to securely rest in the unit, providing support and allowing the heating panel to be moved readily.
Applications
The stand feet can be used as support for electric heating panels anywhere that these panels are used, such as in homes and offices or in commercial spaces, as an alternative to mounting the heating panels on walls or ceilings.

Is the 220v unit hardwired? What controls are supplied with the heater?
DEELAT's 220V radiant wall heating panels are "plug n play" as they will come from factory with a plug. Controls are not included with the panel; however, a thermostat to control it is available for purchase separately at D1775509. Please call us today to order your wall heating panel with thermostat.
Is there a thermostat?

What type of thermostate would I use with this product? Or does it come with an inbuilt-thermostate already?
The radiant electric wall heating panel can be used with an external thermostat as there is no internal thermostat with these units. Would this panel be suitable for heating a fifty square foot bathroom?
The 720W radiant wall heating panel will be able to heat a 55 sq ft bathroom. However, we do recommend going with a glass panel as it performs better in a bathroom setting due to splashing water and humidity.
Can this heat panel be hard wired?

How quickly does the D1160494 panel generate heat?
Hello Peter, thank you for your question. It takes the D1160494 panel 2-3 mins to heat up itself. The estimated time in heating up the room depends on the size of the room. The bigger the room, the longer it will take to heat up the room. To give you an idea, it will take the heating panel roughly 30 minutes to warm a 40 sq. ft room.
What are the difference with glass vs non glass ,or which one is better ?
Hello Kim, thank you for your question. There are 2 main differences between glass panels and non glass panels. The first difference is heating time, the glass heating panels take longer to reach heating temperatures whereas the non glass heats up much quicker. The other difference is the glass heating panels can be installed pretty much anywhere including humid areas such as a bathroom whereas non glass should not be installed in humid areas.
Does this 220v heating panel work on a 240v circuit?

Can it cause a fire or is it highly flammable?
Hello Claudia, thank you for your question. The radiant heating panel itself is not flammable. Any kind of product that is an electric heater can cause a fire if it is used improperly or altered in anyway. The biggest fire risk is how the radiant wall heating panel is wired during installation. The good thing about this D1160513 heating panel is that it's "plug n play", so it already comes with a 110V or 220V plug (depending on your country). Sll you have to do is hang it with the anchor screws provided and plug it in.
How big of a room in sq ft will this D1160501 heating panel heat up?

If you are needing to warm up a larger area, we suggest a radiant heating panel with a higher wattage. Can they be painted? What is the amp draw on the 110V 720w unit?
The manufacturer can paint the wall heating panel for you but there will be a minimum order quantity. You can also paint it yourself but a special high heat paint must be applied which is not easily found. If you would like it painted we recommend you order it already painted. The amp draw for this wall heating panel is 6.55 Amps.
Does this heater have a thermostat?

Could this unit be installed in a bathroom away from tub or shower?
Hello Ray, thank you for your question. Our D1160493 panel is ideal to warm up any bathroom of any size. You can certainly install them away from the tub or shower. Most of our customers install this radiant heater either on the ceiling or flush on the wall. This particular radiant wall heater would work perfectly in a small to medium sized bathroom.
Where is it made? Will it work with US power and outlets?
Hello Dean, Our radiant wall heating panels are made in Taiwan; however, they will certainly work with US power. These heating panels come with a standard US 110V plug as seen on the photos. The wall heating panels are what we consider as plug and play. You securely anchor the panel onto a wall, plug it in, and you are good to go. The panel will automatically begin to heat when it is plugged in.
Can it be thermostatically controlled?

With the surface getting so hot, how do you stop someone from getting burned?
It is similar to a stove top, there really is no way of stopping someone from getting burned. The only way is by putting visible warnings not to touch the surface because it is hot.

Is this heater controlled by your wall thermostat or just a plug in wall socket
Hello Corinne, thank you for your question. Our radiant wall heating panels could work with both thermostats, our wall thermostat and our plug in thermostat. However, we would recommend going with the plug in D1775509 because its much easier to install and set.
Does the panel function manually or is there a temperature sensor to go with it?
The D1160503 panel will automatically turn on and will stay on while it is plugged in to an outlet. If you would like it to turn on and off automatically, we do offer the D1775509 thermostat that will control the heating panel to only operate in a certain temperature range.
If this is 220v why does it have a 120v plug?
Thank you for your question, Go. The voltage of sku D1160500 is 220V. The voltage can only be set in the production process. The outlook of the plug has no effect on voltage. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

The image for this product shows feet fitted at the bottom to make it floor standing. Are those feet included ? Can they be purchased separately & used with any of the other panel sizes in the range ?

This thermostat cannot be used with all brands of radiant wall heating panels. It is compatible with 110V heating panels this subcategory. The temperature range it can be set to is 0-60 degrees Celsius (32-140 degrees Fahrenheit).
what size room is this D1160479 unit capable of heating? is the face of unit hot to the touch?
Hello Ariel, thank you for your question. The heating panel will feel warm and is technically okay to touch, but we highly recommend that you do not touch it. The D1160479 heating panel is no longer sold, but our similar product, D1160496, will cover an area of approximately 54 sq ft. If you need to heat up a larger area, we recommend purchasing a panel with higher wattage.
What is the life expectancy of the heater? Is it safe to touch if hot? Can it be painted? Or sticker picture added?
Hello Luis, thank you for your question. The life expectancy of our wall heating panels is roughly 5 years. The surface of the heating panel can get extremely hot and is not safe to touch. The heating panel can be painted or have a picture added on but only direct from manufacturer. We can have a panel made to your specifications needed.
Would it be OK to install this heater on the ceiling in a bathroom 12' long and 8' wide with a timer and heat controller?
You can install this D1160503 wall heating panel on the ceiling of a bathroom; however, we do recommend purchasing a wall heating panel that has a glass panel, such as D1160513, as it performs better in the humid environment of a bathroom. We do offer thermostat controllers for our wall heating panels, like D1775509.
What does the plug in thermostat look like and what does it cost?

What is the difference between this product and SKU #D1160505? Their descriptions sound the same. Thanks.
Hello Robert, thank you for your question. Even thought the descriptions sound very similar, the 2 radiant wall heating panels are made from different materials. The front surface and frame material of D1160481 are both made out of white aluminum sheets. D1160505 has a PET sheet for the surface and silver aluminum frame. Aluminum on the surface is much better because it has a higher heat dissipation rate than PET.
Can it be used in a bathroom or other wet areas, such as a laundry?

Yes our wall heating panel can be used in a bathroom or laundry room, however, should not be installed where it can get splashed with water as it could damage the wall heating panel. We would suggest going with SKU# D1160513 which has a glass surface which performs better in a humid environment.

If I mount these panels on an 8' ceiling, will they be able to heat the cold tile floor?
We believe the heat generated by the D1160496 panel will reach the floor on an 8 foot ceiling. However, we need more information on the size for the room, such as square footage and dimensions, to recommend how many panels you would need to heat the tile floor. Is this new flooring being installed? If it is new flooring, we offer indoor heating cables, like D1142940, that are installed beneath the flooring.
