can I use this heater to combat bed bugs

Hello, thank you for your question. Using heat to combat bed bugs is a relatively new treatment. At 70°F, they will live and even flourish, but when the temperature gets up near 140°F, they cannot survive. However, this unit is designed specifically for a Indoor/Outdoor heat source. This product is not specifcally for bed bug treatment.

If using the heater indoors does it emit fumes or need to be vented

Hello Jordan, thank you for your question. Do not use this product indoors! Ventilation and re-circulation of airflow is necessary when you turn it on. The heater will produce carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) which both are poisonous, tasteless, and an odorless gas that can potentially kill a person or animal quickly.

Is this produce ok for killing bedbugs?

Hello Gareth, Thank you for your question. It is said that heat can be used to kill bedbugs and our propane gas heater produces heat, however, using it to kill bedbugs is not its intended use so we can not guarantee it will work. We recommend contacting a pest control company.
