Centrifuge - 2460xg - Capacity 8 x 50mL/15mL/10mL/7mL/5mL/3mL/1.5mL - Clinical
The centrifuge is able to hold up to 8 containers of various numbers and sizes, including 8 x 50mL/15mL/10mL/7mL/5mL/3mL/1.5mL tubes. Tubes are not included. The maximum relative centrifugal force is 2,460 xg.
Function
The magnetic stirring device has a rotor with slots for holding tubes of blood and other materials. A cover is secured over the rotor and, using the machine’s interface, the spinning cycle is activated, which then separates the contents of the tubes into their constituent parts. The spinning speed is shown on a display and can be adjusted using the button interface.
Applications
The magnetic stirring unit is used in medical lab settings and donation centers for blood analysis and, more generally, in any sort of clinical, chemical, or biochemical environment where similar analysis is required.
